OPENING CEREMONY for this year’s German exhibition contribution to the 9th São Paulo International Architecture Biennial under the motto "Baukultur Made in Germany",
with subsequent reception and round tour of the exhibition.

Panel Discussion "Baukultur Made in Germany" with architects and urban development planners from Germany and Brazil:
Three select exhibition projects are presented under particular consideration of sustainability aspects, participation and planning processes. Subsequently, each of these three projects is reviewed by a Brazilian architect in the context of a joint panel discussion. The further development of the German contribution to the 2009 Biennial is the subject of a joint German-Brazilian lecture: Two years ago, the IBA Hamburg had looked into the subject of questions regarding the future of our cities under the motto "Cidade para todos – Stadt für alle – City for all". This has led to a long-term cooperation between the HafenCity University Hamburg and several Brazilian universities. Subsequently Evening Reception.
